Thank you to everyone who participated in our flash sale last week! We have picked the kale clean and will be out for the next couple of weeks while it grows back. There is plenty of cilantro available, 2 bunches for $5 this week. Radishes are ready at $3 a bunch, a great addition to a salad of fresh farm greens. We also have a few heads of beautiful red leaf lettuce, don’t miss out before they’re gone.
Lots of productive and busy work ahead on the farm. Snow continues to melt and the first field is free of snow, once the ground has thawed we will start planting outside! Tomato, eggplant, and pepper starts are all growing very well and will start getting hardened off outside in the coming weeks.
The first Peterborough farmers market of the year is just two weeks away, starting April 2nd from 3-6pm. Due to construction at the community center, the market will be held in the Bowling Acres parking lot directly across the street from the usual market spot.
