Most produce at this time of the year is getting very thin, but the greenhouses are still producing even with no heat.
The last Peterborough Farmers market for this season is this Wednesday from 3-5 PM at the Peterborough Community Center.
Here’s what’s available:
Sweet peppers, a bit wilted but still good for cooking: $1 each or $4 per pound.
Cayenne peppers $3 per pint box
Garlic (small) $1 each
Tomatoes(small, mixed, beef steak and plum type) $3 pint box
Large Butternut $8 each (2 remain)
Romaine lettuce $3 each
Hearty greens $5 per bunch
Salad lettuce mix $5 per bunch
Tat Soi $3 per bunch
Sweet potatoes Large with vole damage $4 per pound
Damaged butternut or acorn squash free
2023 CSA signups will start in January. 2022 CSA accounts are cancelled December 31, 2022.
Farm pick ups are still available. Connect by text or email and place an order. When it is confirmed, it will be waiting for you in a small red cooler.
