The winter squash crop has failed. We will not have any of the winter squashes nor pumpkins available. We did not spread compost this season and weeding was insufficient to allow the plants to grow. Lack of enough farm help was the reason we could not get those things done. Next season we will cut back so that we can handle the work load.
Cucumbers are in and out. We get a few and then none. Green beans and summer squash are slow growing too. We are planting more lettuce and have some this week, but the demand is higher than the supply. Red sweet pepper are coming in but they seem to take their time getting red. If you want them green let us know.
