Crazy how fast the summer is flying by! We are gearing up to hit the peak season in August and September on the farm. The second crop of potatoes are being planted, we are planning for fall crops of carrots, beets, cabbage, spinach, and green beans. The second crop of raspberries have started producing and should carry us into September.
As slicing tomatoes start to come in, we get non-saleable damaged tomatoes, typically from yellow shoulders. These tomatoes are still good after cutting away the top parts. We are offering these tomatoes free of charge if you are interested inquire in your order.
This week we will be at the Bedford farmers market on Tuesday from 3-6pm, the Peterborough farmers market on Wednesday from 3-6pm, and the Milford farmers market on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
