August is flying by already. Cherry tomatoes are in full swing, red and yellow are both available for order this week $5 per box. Both varieties are exceptionally sweet and delicious, perfect as a snack or in a summer salad. Combine with your favorite Ledge Top greens, sliced cucumbers, red onion, and a light dressing for a refreshing and sweet summer salad.
We have damaged/yellow shoulder tomatoes available at request for no charge. These tomatoes typically have damage to the tops of them, but still lots of usable fruit. Inquire in your order for some damaged tomatoes.
The winter squash crop is looking strong and we should have some delicata squash and sugar pumpkins available in the coming weeks. Green and yellow bean plants are flowering and will bear fruit soon.
This week we will be at the Bedford farmers market on Tuesday from 3-6pm, the Peterborough farmers market on Wednesday from 3-6pm, and the Milford farmers market on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
