The first starts of the season are now going. We have red and yellow onions, leeks, and celery all seeded as we wait patiently for their germination. In the greenhouses, we have lots of greens and cold hearty crops growing already, including arugula, hearty greens mix, beta mix, spinach, green garlic, and a new variety of french breakfast radishes we are growing this year. We are looking forward to an abundant early spring on the farm.
It’s crazy to think that we are only 8 weeks away from our first farmers market of the season in April! If you want to pick up all your favorite Ledge Top Farm produce from one of our farmers markets but don’t want to wait in the line just to find out we sold out of what you wanted, consider joining our CSA program. You choose exactly what you want, and can conveniently pick up at the farm or any of our markets without having to bring your cash or checkbook. You will receive a reply when your order is confirmed. If you do not hear back within a few hours, please email us again to confirm. Due to freezing weather, orders for pickup must be placed for after 11am.
