This is turning out to be a great season to never have to use irrigation to water your garden. The rain just keeps coming. As far as fast growing plants: not so much!

The best days for pick up orders at the farm are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  The rest of the week we are picking for farmers markets and its more difficult to find the time to pick for orders, especially with the worker shortage. Our customized “you decide” CSA is very time consuming when there are worker shortages.
Milford Farmers market is Saturday on Elm Street, Milford, across from the antique shop, and the Agway. Hours are 10-1PM.
Peterborough farmers market is Wednesday 3-6 PM at the Peterborough Community Center.
Francestown Community Market is Friday from 4-6:30PM at the sheds in Francestown.
Zucchini, Yellow summer squash and Yellow beans are just coming on.  We’ve been able to pick a few and with sunshine maybe more, so their availability will be limited at first.
Here’s what’s available this week:
Arugula $4 per bunch
Hearty greens(a mixture of kale, tat soi, red mustard, arugula, and mizuna) $5 per bunch
Raspberries $5 per half pint box
Beets $4 per bunch
Carrots $4 per bunch
Garlic  $1 per ounce; most bulbs $3 each
Tat soi $3 per bunch
Mint $3 per bunch
Blueberries $4 per half pint or $6 per pint
Pac Choy $3 per bunch
Komatsuna (mild asian green) $3 per bunch
Green beans: $4 per pound
Napa cabbage $4 each
Basil $4 per bunch
Maybe yellow beans this week $4 per pound
Celery $4 per bunch
Sweet red peppers banana shaped $2 each
Zucchini or yellow summer squash $2 each
You can pick up at the farm anytime, and receive an added discount. Email or text your order and pick up time. I’ll confirm your order and you pick up. If you have a CSA account there is nothing else to do. If your paying with cash or check made out to Ledge Top Farm, there will be a container for your purchase.
