We have two varieties of kale this week, red russian and tuscan kale. Red russian kale is a flat leafed variety with a more mild flavor and softer leaf texture. Tuscan kale has a darker green color and a more robust leaf texture. Both are excellent for salads or cooking! $4 per bunch on either variety.

Happy summer everyone! The summer weather is coming in strong this week with an intense heat wave, we hope everyone stays cool out there. Warm weather is bringing more growth on the farm, potatoes are beginning to flower, garlic scapes are coming in, green and yellow wax beans are flowering, pickling and slicing cucumbers are putting on some growth.
Garlic scapes are in this week! Perfect for making homemade pesto, adding to your summer stir fries, or sautéed whole as a delicious slightly sweet garlic side dish. The whole scape is edible and packed with garlic flavor. $3 per bunch.
Farmers markets this week include the Bedford farmers market on Tuesday from 3-6pm, the Peterborough farmers market on Wednesday from 3-6pm, and the Milford farmers market on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
