All your fall favorites are in and the season of abundant harvests continues. We have begun harvesting sweet potatoes! They are curing and will be available for order Wednesday and beyond. New potatoes are still a couple of weeks out.
Fall and winter preparations have begun on the farm to ensure a strong end to the season and beginning of next year’s crops. This month we will be planting our garlic for next year, seeding overwintered carrots, kale, chard, and spinach.
This week we will be at the Bedford farmers market on Tuesday from 3-6pm, the Peterborough farmers market on Wednesday from 3-6pm, the Merrimack farmers market at The Stables at Anheuser-Busch on Thursday from 4-7pm, and the Milford farmers market on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
