The Milford Outdoor market is over for this season. Thank you for your attendance. The Indoor Milford market starts November 6th at the Milford Town Hall auditorium for 10–1PM every other week.
Just to review out Ledge Top Farm COVID policy: Because the vaccination rate is still less than 60% in New Hampshire, we will continue to wear masks at the markets, although everyone that works on this farm are fully vaccinated. Anybody that wants to see, visit or tour the farm must be vaccinated. For pick-ups at the farm stand we practice a no contact policy, so vaccination is not needed, but recommended. No intern, helper, or guest may be walking on the farm without proper vaccination other than picking up an order.
We still are harvesting sweet potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. Leaf lettuce is coming on strong right now. Tomatoes are declining, as are sweet peppers but we hope they last thorough November. Raspberries are in short supply and harvest only about 12-15 baskets all week long. Greens are growing well in the greenhouses. We are planning to keep growing all winter as long as it’s possible.
CSA members should plan to use their credit by December 31st or they will lose it.
One more farmers market for Francestown, no inside market is scheduled. Milford will be inside on November 6th. Peterborough market will go inside on October 27th, one more outside market this Wednesday.
Of course you can order through this email or ledgetopfarm.com and pick up at the farm anytime, just tell us what you want and when.
