Record sales at Peterborough Farmers market despite the bone chilling cold. This Wednesday’s market should be 20 degrees warmer. We will be there from 3-6 PM at the Peterborough Community Center.
Spinach, kale and lettuce is in abundant supply.
Here’s what’s growing:
Spinach: $5 per bunch, or 2 for $9
Salad mix $5 per bunch
Red or green frilly lettuce $3 per head
Green star lettuce $3 per head
Arugula $4 per bunch
Kale $4 per bunch or 2 for $7
Collards $4 per bunch
Red leaf lettuce $3 per head
Red mustard $3 per bunch
Radishes $3 per bunch
Swiss chard $4 per bunch
You can pick up at the farm anytime, and received an added discount. Email or text your order and pick up time. I’ll confirm your order and you pick up. If you have a CSA account there is nothing else to do. If your paying with cash or check made out to Ledge Top Farm, there will be a container for your purchase.
Blossom Sky Farm grows flowers in Lyndeborough and will offer them for sale here on this newsletter. There are $20. They should be ready mid month. I have no pictures yet but hopefully some will be coming. They are not eligible to be used with CSA credit. They must be cash.
