Rhubarb is growing and might be ready for harvest next week.
Pea shoots should be ready by Friday.
First tomatoes are planted in the greenhouse. They are almost a foot tall.
New spinach crop to be harvested this week.
Farmers market sales have been record setting for this early in the season. Sales are stronger than the regrow of the crops, so volume is down this week. New items are planted daily.
Help is always needed on the farm. For this farm to produce as much as last year I will need more hands to help out. Last year I had my college students working in April and May. Doesn’t look like its going to happen this year.
You can work at the farm for food or cash. Choose your hours and schedule.
Markets this week are: Francestown Friday 4-7pm and Peterborough Wednesday 3-6 pm
Here’s what’s available this week:
Kale $4 per bunch
Watercress $4 per bunch
Radishes $3 per bunch
Mint $3 per bunch
Spinach $5 per bunch
Farm pick up is available.
Place your order by email or text.
Choose a pick up time and day.
I will confirm that order, time and day.
Be close to your pick up time so there will be only one customer per pick up at a time. If you can’t make your pick up time, please reschedule.
