It’s amazing to think of how fast the year has blown by, but before you know it spring is going to be just around the corner! So it’s never too early to think about your relationship with Ledge Top Farm in the coming year. CSA (community sustained agriculture) memberships will open for registration in January, so if you are an existing CSA customer or someone new looking to be more involved with the farm, keep an eye out in your emails in the coming months. The earlier you sign up the better, we offer a 10% discount to everyone who registers in the month of January! (That’s more money and vegetables in your pocket!) Questions about the structure of our CSA program can be directed to our email.
With the end of one season comes the planning of another! We have been hard at work making sure everything will be ready and abundant for our customers in 2024 and we’re excited to have some new offerings. Starting this spring, we will have tomato and sweet pepper starts available in most of the varieties you know and love from Ledge Top. We are expanding our production in winter squash and putting a lot of effort into providing a bumper crop of all your fall favorites next year. And perhaps most exciting of all, organic sweet corn will be back next fall! We are growing two varieties of bi-colored, super sweet corn that we can’t wait to share with you all. As always any questions about produce offerings for the upcoming season or suggestions are welcome in our inbox.
Only two Peterborough Farmers Markets left in the season! December 13th and 20th will be the final markets. We thank everyone again for turning out week after week and making this a great season not only for us, but for the market as a whole.
Three weeks of farm pickup for CSA customers and cash orders as well. Put your order in anytime and it will be waiting for you at the stand. Make sure you get a conformation on your order to be sure we got the message. Let us know the day and time you can pick up. A reminder to CSA customers that orders are only accepted through the end of December, so use your money up while you can!
