Thanks for coming to the farm for pick up orders. There are no farmers markets until Dec 1 in Peterborough and December 4th in Milford so orders can be pick up at the farm.
Some freezing nights are predicted this week so outside crops like spinach, turnips, beets, scallions, cabbage and Brussels Sprouts may take a hit.
Most items are grown in greenhouses so there will still be a good assortment. We even have cherry tomatoes ripening in the greenhouse.
We have an abundance of arugula, Romaine lettuce and lettuce mix so we can offer those on sale.
Here’s what’s growing this week:
Swiss chard $4 per bunch
Red mustard $3 per bunch
Tomatoes, some beef steak, or Brandywine, some yellow Valencia $3 per pound or $5 quart box
Tokyo Bekana (Asian green) $3 per bunch
Beet greens $4 per bunch(small or no beet formation)
Beets $4 per bunch(greens are not edible just beet root)
Radishes $3 per bunch
Arugula $4 per bunch or 2 bunches for $6
Leeks $4 per bunch
Parsnips $4 per bunch
Turnips $3 per bunch
Cilantro $3 per bunch
Spinach $5 per bunch
Brussels Sprouts $5 per pint box
Hearty Greens $5 per bunch
Romaine $3 per bunch/head or 2 for $5
Lettuce mix $5 per bunch or 2 for $8
Peppers, sweet, banana style, mostly green, a few red $4 per pound
Scallions $3 per bunch
Kale $4 per bunch
Cabbage $2 per pound
Cherry tomatoes $3 per 1/2 pint box
Green beans $2 per bunch
