Tomatoes on this farm have taken a big hit this season. The heat damaged the beefsteak tomatoes by causing yellow shoulders on the tomatoes and decreasing yield because of poor pollination. Granadero plum tomatoes have decreased production because of disease, very unusual for this variety.
September is the month with the most production, so CSA members should keep that in mind so you get the best selections.
Brussels sprouts are getting bigger.

Garlic $1 per ounce, most 2+ ounces

Red beets , Chiogia or Golden $4 per bunch
Cucumbers, English type $1 each
Swiss Chard $4 per bunch
Green, purple or yellow beans $2 per bunch
Cherry tomatoes $3 per box, red or yellow
Delicata squash $2 each
Sweet red peppers $2 each or $4 per pound
Eggplant $2 each or $4 per pound
Red cayenne peppers(red rocket) $3 per box
Butternut squash $2 per pound or $5 or $7 squash each
Lettuce/Salad mix $5 per bunch
Bag of green lettuce $3
Melons(watermelon(with seeds) or cantaloupe) $5 each when available
Tatsoi $3 per bunch
Acorn squash $2 each
Rhubarb $4 per bunch
Farmers markets this week are in Peterborough Wednesday, 3-6 PM, Francestown Friday 4-6:30 and Milford Saturday 10-1 PM.
CSA members should order ahead 24-36 hours to pick up at Milford Farmers market. You will not be getting just picked produce.
You can always pick up at the farm. Email or text your order and wait for confirmation and then pick up at the time you want.
