Just looking around the farm to see the current condition of all that planned, here’s what growing or not:
Radish: some coming in now and future seeding doing OK.
Ginger: very poor; crop failure
Cucumbers: low right now but many plants in weeks to come.
Basil: good growth
Lettuce: Ok but the the demand will outstrip the supply soon.
Peppers: starting to see red ones this week
Tomatoes: short supply but may coming in soon
Beets: supply is low; new growth is not keeping up with demand
Rhubarb: Good supply
Scallions: weeks behind
Collards: picking this week; low supply
Onions: should be picking soon; fair supply
Swiss chard: supply out right now
Kale: low supply
Peas: snap peas now but fading; shell peas weeks away
Raspberries: fair supply; new crop in August
Beans: Green supply good; yellow, not yet, all in flower
Eggplant: weeks away; no flowers yet
Celery: maybe next week for harvest; fair supply
Brussel sprouts: good amount for September crop
Cabbage: just growing; August crop
Napa cabbage: good supply; just started picking; still young
Zucchini: This week or next for first pick
Yellow summer squash: Next week for picking
Sweet potatoes: good growth for October crop
Potatoes: Fingerlings picking this week; Others next week
Hearty greens: fair supply
Arugula: low supply now; demand is strong; growth is slow
Garlic: harvesting this week
Tat soi: Fair supply
Blueberries: July supply is good; no more after that.
Winter squash: growth good; expected harvest late August
Cantaloupe: very few plants but growing OK; August harvest
Milford Farmers market is Saturday on Elm Street, Milford, across from the antique shop, and the Agway. Hours are 10-1PM.
Peterborough farmers market is Wednesday 3-6 PM at the Peterborough Community Center.
Francestown Community Market is Friday from 4-6:30PM at the sheds in Francestown.

Arugula $4 per bunch
Hearty greens(a mixture of kale, tat soi, red mustard, arugula, and mizuna) $5 per bunch
Kale $4 per bunch
Tokyo Bekana $3 per bunch
Raspberries $5 per half pint box
Beets $4 per bunch
Carrots $4 per bunch
Garlic $1 per ounce; most bulbs $3 each
Tat soi $3 per bunch
Leaf lettuce $3 each
Snap peas $6 per pint box
Mint $3 per bunch
Blueberries $4 per half pint
baby pac hoy $3 per bunch
Komatsuna (mild asian green) $3 per bunch
Green beans: $4 per pound
Napa cabbage $4 each
You can pick up at the farm anytime, and receive an added discount. Email or text your order and pick up time. I’ll confirm your order and you pick up. If you have a CSA account there is nothing else to do. If your paying with cash or check made out to Ledge Top Farm, there will be a container for your purchase.
