Back to the hot and sunny weather this week on The Ledge. August is the busiest month on the farm for harvesting and growth, there’s always something new to pick and admire. I love seeing all the vibrant colors from the yellow beans, to bright red tomatoes, the green of zucchini, and beautiful golden beets. We continue planting to ensure a fall full of great produce for everyone.
Our Valencia tomatoes are growing great this year. Valencia is a super low acid, yellow heirloom tomato that has the perfect balance of flavors and juice and flesh. Perfect for slicing, this tomato is one you don’t want to miss trying.

Farmers markets as usual this week. Come join us in Peterborough on Wednesday from 3-6pm, Francestown on Friday from 4-6:30pm, and Milford on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
