The temperatures seem to be moderating out this week as we inch closer to the end of summer, but there’s plenty of growth still happening up on The Ledge! We are beginning to check the winter squash crop to see what’s ready for harvest and should have our first squash in soon. This year we grew plenty of butternut, acorn, delicata, kabocha, spaghetti squash, and pumpkins.
A reminder for CSA customers that it is strongly encouraged to place an order beforehand if you plan on picking up at a farmers market. This helps us to ensure that we have adequate supplies of produce and provides you with the full offerings of what’s available each week.
We still have lots of tomato seconds available for purchase at a discount. These tomatoes are excellent for cooking and canning and help to prevent waste on the farm! We will be offering 5lb lots of tomato seconds for $8.

We will be at the Peterborough Farmers Market on Wednesday from 3-6pm, the Francestown Community Market on Friday from 4-6:30pm, and the Milford Farmers Market on Saturday from 10am-1pm this week.
