Warmer temps on the way this week! Our spring starts are coming along nicely and are looking forward to a break from the cold. As temperatures continue to rise and sunlight becomes more abundant, we expect to have great crops of some spring favorites such as radishes, spinach, kale, and arugula. A great way to get all of our best produce is to join our CSA program. The Ledge Top CSA always allows you to be in control of what produce you’re taking home from the farm, as frequently as you’d like. This is also a convenient and easy way to never have to remember cash when picking up an order. Sign-ups are available all season long so it’s never too late to join. More information about our CSA can be found on our website.
In the meantime, here’s what’s available this week:
Arugula $5 per bunch
Beta mix $5 per bunch (a mix of baby Swiss chard and beet leaves)
Spinach $5 per bunch (1-2 bunches only)
Parsley $4 per bunch (1-2 bunches only)
To place your order, please email tom.mitchell9@icloud.com with:
- A list of the produce you’d like and the quantity
- The date and time you would like to pick up, Due to the cold temperatures this time of year, we cannot fulfill any orders for pickup in the mornings
- Please wait for a confirmation email before coming to pick up your order
We’re excited that things are picking up in preparation for the spring season. Our onion starts are germinating well and the spring spinach crop is looking bountiful. Believe it or not our first farmer’s market of the 2024 season is fast approaching in April. We can’t wait to get back out there for another season of providing our customers and community with the best produce we can.
