Happy Fourth of July week! Who else can’t believe how fast this summer is flying by? Lots of great produce is coming along on the farm that should be ready this upcoming month. Potatoes are putting on some more growth before the first harvest later this month, tomato and sweet pepper plants are loaded up with green fruit, winter and summer squash are growing great, and garlic will be harvested soon as well.
First carrots of the season are in! Early carrots are always so delicious and sweet, pick some up this week for $4 a bunch.

Arugula $5 per bunch
Red beets $4 per bunch
Carrots $4 per bunch
Garlic scapes $3 per bunch
Green leaf lettuce $3 per head
Hearty greens mix $5 per bunch
Kale $4 per bunch
Mint $3 per bunch
Raspberries $5 per box
Rhubarb $4 per bunch
Salad mix $5 per bunch
Swiss chard or Rainbow chard $4 per bunch
Tokyo bekana $3 per bunch
Turnips $4 per bunch
To place your order, email [email protected] or [email protected] with a list of what you would like, and the date and time you will pick up. You will receive a reply when your order is confirmed.
The farm will be open and accepting orders all week, including orders on Thursday the 4th.
All markets will run as usual this week despite the holiday. We will be in Peterborough at the farmers market Wednesday from 3-6pm, the Francestown community market Friday from 4-6:30pm, and the Milford farmers market Saturday from 10am-1pm. Stop by and pick up some local and fresh ingredients for your summer cookouts!
