Winter preparations continue on the farm. We are cleaning out our high tunnels, breaking down fences, and prepping our greenhouses for the incoming cold. Here’s what you need to know this week:
Damaged Winter Squash:
- Damaged butternut squash still available, minor damages but the majority of the squash is still great to eat
- Damaged squash is free, you just need to come pick it up at the farm
Fall Veggies:
- New potatoes are still abundant, red chieftain and kennebecs are both great all-purpose potatoes
- We have some beautiful heads of large, green cabbage available this week
- Some items that have been available on the list in past weeks may still be around in small quantities, inquire if you have a question
Market:
- Peterborough farmers market is inside at the community center for the rest of the season, Wednesdays from 3-5pm
General:
- Weekend orders should be sent to Tom via email or text, or submitted on the online form, the earlier in the day the better
