Winter seems to be approaching faster and faster this year. Cold morning and overnight temperatures are beginning to freeze the pond and topsoil in the fields. Here’s what you need to know this week:
Farmers Markets:
- Only FOUR more Peterborough farmers markets for us this season, Wednesdays from 3-5pm at the community center
- No market the Wednesday before thanksgiving because of the holiday, pickup orders are available all week except for Thanksgiving day
- Our final Peterborough market dates; 11/20, 12/04, 12/11, and 12/18
Morning Orders:
- Due to freezing temperatures in the morning, orders must be placed for a pickup time after 10am
Fall Veggies:
- Start thinking about what Ledge Top staples you’d like to have on your Thanksgiving table this year!
- We have around 50 lbs of damaged winter squash still available for free, cosmetic damages but the majority of the squash is still great
- A little over 6.5 weeks left in the CSA season and plenty of produce left to sell right through the end of December
2025 CSA:
- CSA memberships for the 2025 season will open up starting in January
- Look out in the coming weeks for more information about how and when to join
