Happy November everyone. The Ledge Top crew continues to adjust and prepare for the upcoming winter. Next year’s garlic is in the ground, cold hearty crops are ready to overwinter, and we continue to harvest our potatoes to last us through the season. Here’s what you need to know this week:
General:
- Weekend orders should be sent to Tom via email or text, or submitted on the online form, the earlier in the day the better
Squash:
- We have a lot of damaged butternut squash still available, minor cosmetic damages but the squash is still great to eat
- Damaged squash is free, you just need to come pick it up at the farm; great for your hearty fall cooking!
Fall Veggies:
- Green leaf lettuce is abundant right now, get two heads for $5 this week!
- Lots of peppers, hot and sweet green, still left. Green peppers are $1 each and hot peppers are $4 per lb
- Some items that have been available on the list in past weeks may still be around in small quantities, inquire if you have a question
Market:
- Peterborough farmers market is inside at the community center for the rest of the season, Wednesdays from 3-5pm
