It amazes me how much the garden keeps producing. For a half acre of growing I’m getting over $40K of produce. But it’s running out. New planting of asian greens, beets, spinach and kale are going into greenhouses for the next month, but even that will stop soon. I’ve found it is not worth it to heat greenhouses in the coldest of winter. It’s not just the heat but the day’s don’t have enough light to keep plants producing.
Lettuce is finally getting large enough to cut. Red leaf, green leaf and Romaine should be available this week.
Spinach is growing so slowly. There is limited amounts. I’m sure it will run out quickly.
Brussels Sprouts continue to be small and not worth picking.
Milford will end Nov. 21st. All markets outside. There will be no indoor markets.
Francestown will have 2 more markets, Oct 23rd and Oct. 30th. Hours will be 4-6:30 PM.
Peterborough market will go inside on October 28th and hours will be from 3 to 5PM Wednesday.
Picking up at the farm is always available until I run out of produce. and there is a 10% discount.
