The farm is producing at at record levels this July. Winter squash is developing nicely and a bumper crop is expected.
A noticeable lack squash bugs so far and almost no Japanese beetles. Cucumber beetles are spreading disease and taking down the cucumbers, especially the picklers, so we are planting a new crop.
Blueberries are so bountiful that there is room for pick your own at half price by appointment only.
Cherry tomatoes have started this week. The two varieties planted are Cherry Bomb, a sweet red winner, and Estivina, a yellow cheery, very tasty.
