What a great week of growth and production on the farm. It’s always amazing to see how the growing seasons change year to year with the weather, and this year is a good one! We are looking at a bumper crop of tomatoes and potatoes this year, the winter squash are putting on some beautiful fruit right now, and sweet and hot peppers are ripening up.
Tomatoes are finally in this week! We have two varieties of cherry tomatoes available: cherry bomb a super sweet classic red cherry tomato, and esterina an equally sweet yellow cherry tomato. Big beef beefsteak tomatoes are ready as well, great for slicing and sandwiches. Granadero plum tomatoes are an excellent versatile plum tomato that are perfect for any use in sauces, cooking, salads, salsa, or slicing.
We WILL NOT be able to fulfill any orders for pickup at the farm today, Sunday July 28th.

Cucumbers, slicers $1 each

Garlic $3 per head
Green beans $3 per bag (½ lb)
Hearty greens mix $5 per bunch
Hungarian hot wax peppers $4 per box
Jalapeño peppers $4 per box
Kale $4 per bunch
Mint $3 per bunch
Kennebec potatoes $4 per box
Red chieftain potatoes $4 per box
Rhubarb $4 per bunch
Sweet yellow onions $4 per bunch
Salad mix $5 per bunch
Rainbow chard $4 per bunch
Tomatoes, beefsteak $4 per lb
Tomatoes, granadero plum $8 per box (2 lbs)
Yellow summer squash $2 each

Our farmers market schedule will run as usual this week. Stop by and see us in Peterborough on Wednesday from 3-6pm, in Francestown on Friday from 4-6:30pm, and in Milford from 10am-1pm.
