Happy August everyone! More great produce is coming available every week. Valencia tomatoes are finally ready; valencias are a vibrant yellow heirloom tomato known for its sweet flavor, beautiful color, and low acidity. Perfect for slicing or cooking. Tomatoes are sold at $4 per lb, with small tomatoes at $1, medium tomatoes at $2, and large tomatoes at $3.
Slicing cucumbers and salad/pickling cucumbers are available this week as well, all cucumbers are $1 each. Both varieties are great for salads or snacking, while salad/pickling cucumbers are perfect for your homemade summer pickles!
This week we will be at the Bedford farmers market on Tuesday from 3-6pm, the Peterborough farmers market on Wednesday from 3-6pm, and the Milford farmers market on Saturday from 10am-1pm.
